Sierra joined our team in June of 2019, but has jumped right in and it feels as if she has been with us all along. Sierra started her dental assisting career three years ago and within the last year has began to work with insurance verification and filing. Sierra is a 2013 graduate of Mannford High School. The best thing about Sand Springs Family Dentistry is we serve more than just Sand Springs, and we love that Sierra has the ability to connect with all our patients, no matter if they are Mannford Pirates, Cleveland Tigers or Sandites. She truly has a passion to be involved in the community and serve others both inside and outside the office.
Sierra enjoys helping patients overcome their fear of the dentist and teaching them about cavity prevention and oral health. Wherever you may see her in the office, she will greet you with a smile and make you feel right at home!
On Sierra’s free time, her and her husband Christian are busy raising (can chasing) their 4 year old son Camden...he keeps them on their toes!
Becky has been in the dental field for almost 20 years, working different positions in her career; assistant, front desk, treatment coordinator, insurance/financial coordinator and management. She lives in Sand Springs with her husband Travis, and 2 children Avery and Easton. Here in Sand Springs, she is very active in the community sitting on the boards of Sand Springs Youth Football Association and Sandite Basketball Association.
Becky truly enjoys being the first person our patients meet, welcoming them to our practice and making sure they have a complete understanding of their insurance benefits and the services we offer. You can ask her anything... she will find your answer, she’s a problem solver! “It’s like the best of both worlds; working in dentistry AND in the town that is so close to my heart!”
When Becky isn’t at work, you will find her at a sporting event supporting her children or you will find her...let’s just be honest, she’s always at a sports event!
Trish is the newest member to our staff, but she is not new to dentistry. She joins our
office with over 2 decades of dental experience and expertise. She lived the majority of
her life on the east coast and moved to Oklahoma in 2007. Trish has many interest and
hobbies; a talented musician, camping, and photography. One of her favorite activities is
attending musical festivals all over the country.
You will love meeting Trish when in the office. She loves to chat and always has the most
interesting stories to share. Finding common grounds or striking up a conversation about
an array of topics is what Trish loves most when working with our patients.
Marissa is a SANDITE!! She was born and raised in Sand Springs where she graduated from Charles Page High School, then attended TCC for her degree in dental hygiene. She’s been in the dental field for several years with a range of responsibilities and knowledge.
In her free time, you will find her outdoors hiking, kayaking, biking or walking her Ausiedoodle, Indy. Marissa also loves to travel. Make sure to ask her about her trips Germany and Italy when in the office and about her future plans to visit New Zealand!
Marissa and her family have been long time patients of Dr. Whitney, so she understands the level of care our patients know they will receive when in the office. We feel especially blessed that she chose to not only be our patient, but a team member! Marissa is so excited to be working in her hometown, the community she loves!
Dr. Whitney was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended The University of Tulsa where he received his undergraduate degree in Biology. After graduating, he moved to Oklahoma City for dental school and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The University of Oklahoma. Dr. Whitney is currently active with the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, and the Tulsa County Dental Society. He has completed additional training in implants, sedation, oral surgery, and is certified to provide Invisalign. He is dedicated to learning the newest advancements in dentistry, and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education to provide his patients exceptional dentistry.
Dr. Whitney is an Oklahoman through and through. He and his wife Emily met while attending TU and they are both Golden Hurricane fans. They have three wonderful children, Isaac, Kaitlyn, and Julia. Dr. Whitney loves cooking and trying unique ingredients in the kitchen. If there is one thing he likes more than grilling and smoking BBQ, it’s eating the food when it’s done! He is fond of the Oklahoma outdoors and enjoys disc golf, hunting, hiking at Turkey Mountain, and watching college football.
